This week:
  1. Chordify – This is one is simply perfect for all the guitar enthusiasts out there or even those who wish to learn that new song that’s been playing in a loop in your mind. All you need to do is upload the link (from YouTube, Deezer, SoundCloud or even from your own collection) to the song you’d like to learn, the website will recognize the chords and provide the most accurate one for you.
  2. Mental Floss – Have you ever read about something and wondered how it ever came to be? This website aims to give an answer to all your questions as it claims to have explanations for all your wanderings. It has a wide range of facts about history, science, pop culture etc. Don’t miss out to check this interesting website.
  3. My Fridge Food – All those nights when you had to make do with leftover food or ready-to-make noodles will soon be a thing of the past because ‘My Fridge Food’ is here to save you. This website allows you to enter all the food items you have available in your fridge at the moment and once you have done this, the website will give you the perfect meal that can be prepared from all those random items.
  4. A Soft Murmur – Have you been dying to get close to Mother Earth but haven’t been able to get off work? A Soft Murmur will be able to take you one step closer to nature with the huge set of ambient sounds that will make you feel warm inside. Put on your earphones and check it out.
  5. Behind The Name – You may have faced a hard time when you had to choose an interesting pseudonym for yourself, be it for an online game avatar or for an anonymous social media account. The name says it all! And this website will help you choose the perfect name from a large variety of categories ranging from African, Danish, Slovak, Biblical and what not. There’s even an Ancient category in there! Check it out now.

Project Close Checklist

You finally delivered the project and had the go live drinks. The team is now breaking up but there are a few things the project manager needs to do to make sure the project is closed and wrapped up. These are grouped into:
  • Scope management- did everything get delivered
  • Risk and issues- what is still outstanding
  • Financials- did everything get paid ?
  • Resources- have resources been re assigned ?
  • Lessons learned
  • Documentation & archiving
