Here are some amazing random cool stuff that I found on the internet this week - just click and enjoy!

Thanks for reading!

This week:

1. Online Chart Software :

Vizzlo - This browser based application allows you to choose from more than 100 templates (the company calls them Vizzards) to create Gantt-charts, timelines, milestone plans, Venn diagrams, maps, process diagrams and other graphic displays of information.

2. Digital Asset Management:
Bynder  is a popular digital asset management platform that is used by Spotify, Canon, Puma, and other global brands. It enables users to automate creative workflows with versioning, annotations, and customisable approval paths. It also offers easy-to-use brand templates for users to create new marketing content right on the platform. Integration-wise, it supports with plenty of third-party apps such as Magento, Google Analytics, and more. Its Android and iOS apps are certainly a bonus too.

3. Kanban Apps:
LeanKit's - Kanban doesn't have to mean only a few horizontal lists on a board. LeanKit's detailed boards let you organize as much information as you want in one space, with sections to group your cards instead of standard lists. It might look overwhelming at first, but is a powerful way to build a digital task factory floor.

4. To Do App:
Things - To do list apps tend to fall into two categories: the complex and the minimalist. Things is somehow both. This is an application with no shortage of features and yet it always feels simple to use. Adding tasks is quick and so is organizing them, but there's seemingly no end of variation in ways to organize them. Areas can contain tasks or projects; projects can contain tasks or headers that can also contain tasks; even tasks can contain sub-tasks if you want. It sounds confusing but it isn't, which really speaks to how well Things is designed.

5. CRM:
Salesforce Essentials allows you to track all customer details in one place so that you can nurture more leads. Then, you can utilize its main modules such as sales data, marketing automation, lead management, partner management, and contact manager to track these leads and convert them into profitable deals. One of the highlights is your team can use this app to be productive anywhere – in the office or field. The mobile apps for iOS and Android offer real-time data from dashboards as well as custom reports.

If you have enjoyed this week's brief but carefully curated walk through the web, please feel free to share or forward this email.

You finally delivered the project and had the go live drinks. The team is now breaking up but there are a few things the project manager needs to do to make sure the project is closed and wrapped up. These are grouped into:
  • Scope management- did everything get delivered
  • Risk and issues- what is still outstanding
  • Financials- did everything get paid ?
  • Resources- have resources been re assigned ?
  • Lessons learned
  • Documentation & archiving
