This week:

1. Team Chat App:
It doesn’t matter what size your team is. If you are looking for a tool which incorporates communication and collaboration elements, Samepage is a good choice. Its main features include team chat, video conferencing, task management, file sharing, real-time document collaboration, and more. It’s a simple yet efficient solution. Also, you can see all tasks for your team members in one place. It is a tool similar to HeySpace yet it lacks some of its innovative components. Nevertheless, Samepage is a great chat software for teams who want to have all the data in one place.

2. Accounting Software:
QuickBooks Enterprise is an accounting platform that aims to provide end-to-end solutions for high-growth businesses. It comes with a robust selection of functionalities that includes reporting and financial management, sales management, and purchasing management. Moreover, the platform is equipped with enterprise-grade payroll management, intuitive inventory monitoring, and industry-specific features to help you aggregate all of your transactions in one platform

3. Time Tracker:
DeskTime is a simple-to-use time tracking app that combines three crucial features - employee monitoring, project management and productivity analysis. Additionally, this employee productivity tracking software is designed to help managers and their teams identify their unproductive habits, by sorting web pages and applications into "Productive" and "Unproductive". DeskTime not only tracks time, but also automatically calculates your daily productivity and efficiency based on your categorization of URLs, programs, and apps. This means - the more time you spend on productive applications, the higher your daily productivity is.

4. Surveys:
SoGoSurvey, a powerful program that is known for being able to create great surveys with a single click. You can share and download surveys that are created by the system, which are easy-to-understand. The solution is highly-intuitive, hence, no need for you to have extensive computer knowledge. Using the system, you get to hit the ground running and create surveys in no time at all. This is because the platform has pre-created templates. All you have to do is copy them onto your survey and the system does the rest.

5. Payments App:
Zelle offers a unique way to pay friends or family right from your bank. If you have an account at a participating bank, you can send cash with same-day transfers to anyone else with an account at a participating bank. The growing list of participating banks includes titans such as Chase, Bank of America, Citi, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo and online banking leaders, Ally and Capital One. You can send without installing the app on your phone, though you can download Zelle's app and connect to your bank account, too. It is free to send and receive.

If you have enjoyed this week's brief but carefully curated walk through the web, please feel free to share or forward this email.

You finally delivered the project and had the go live drinks. The team is now breaking up but there are a few things the project manager needs to do to make sure the project is closed and wrapped up. These are grouped into:
  • Scope management- did everything get delivered
  • Risk and issues- what is still outstanding
  • Financials- did everything get paid ?
  • Resources- have resources been re assigned ?
  • Lessons learned
  • Documentation & archiving
