Thanks for reading!

This week:

1. Project Management Tool:
ClickUp is a cloud-based collaboration and project management tool with a variety of communication and collaboration features. This is probably one of the best to do lists out there for teams that are very affordable and reasonable price. It also allows you to sort and filter things in a powerful way which makes it less cluttered.

2. Communication app:
Ekoapp is a mobile collaboration and communication app for teams. It allows you to make voice and video calls, send voice messages, share files, create polls and broadcasts. You can also customize the solution in line with your company’s unique branding.

3. Video Conference:
Jitsi Meet is an extremely easy to use, browser-based alternative to Skype. End-to-end encryption between the people talking on Jitsi Meet means your video, audio and chat is very difficult, if not impossible to intercept and record by third parties.

4. Mapping Tool:
MindMup is idea mapping application that let ideas bloom on chart. Its cloud based applicaiton. Its free for individuals users and keep data on cloud upto 6 months. It also adjusts the containers or objects itself, so don't need to worry about arranging them.

5. Diagramming Software:
Cacoo would be a great tool to best put across your ideas and exercise on building diagrams, it is also a great learning tool, does not take long to master your way around it as the tools are easy to access and use.

If you have enjoyed this week's brief but carefully curated walk through the web, please feel free to share or forward this email.

You finally delivered the project and had the go live drinks. The team is now breaking up but there are a few things the project manager needs to do to make sure the project is closed and wrapped up. These are grouped into:
  • Scope management- did everything get delivered
  • Risk and issues- what is still outstanding
  • Financials- did everything get paid ?
  • Resources- have resources been re assigned ?
  • Lessons learned
  • Documentation & archiving
