You finally delivered the project and had the go live drinks. The team is now breaking up but there are a few things the project manager needs to do to make sure the project is closed and wrapped up. These are grouped into:
  • Scope management- did everything get delivered
  • Risk and issues- what is still outstanding
  • Financials- did everything get paid ?
  • Resources- have resources been re assigned ?
  • Lessons learned
  • Documentation & archiving

This week:

1. Design Tool:
Sketch takes the pain out of working with repeated design elements so that designers can design once and use it anywhere. It’s a design toolkit, which helps build flexible designs with ease.

2. Organizational tools:
Bit.ai is a smart all-in-one document collaboration platform for teams to create interactive documents, manage digital content and track document insights.

3. Communication:
Troop Messenger is super easy to start using and is great for shared documents where you need to have multiple people providing input and updates. It is cross-platform enabled; it is available on Windows, Linux, Browser, Android, and iOS.

4. Collaboration Software:
TeamViewer allows you to remotely access and control the desktop of your computers and servers from anywhere, on a 3G or better internet connection. It supports both text and voice chat if needed. Even with poor internet signal TeamViewer is able to connect with relative stability which is extremely helpful.

5. Project management:
This software is easy to get in to, unlike a large number of project management tool. This tool makes it easy to delegate tasks to team members, and see where they are, at a moments notice. You don't have a limit to create projects or dashboards so it fits perfect for small companies to the big ones.
