Here are some great tools I found on the internet this week - just click and enjoy!

Thanks for reading!

  1. https://quip.com/
Quip gives you "living documents" because it acknowledges that your content (text, images, spreadsheets, and data) will change and evolve over time as you collaborate. Like other tools, it has a solid chat/commenting system that allows your team to communicate right on the documents themselves.

  2. https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence
A knowledge center tool, Confluence allows you to build a centralized knowledge center where all processes can be documented and shared outside of work silos. And because it's by the same maker as JIRA, it is much easier to connect issues or bugs with your wiki entries in the knowledge center.

  3. https://bloomfire.com/
Bloomfire is for creating a centralized repository of information for your company by making it easy to upload and manage all content from any device. Even better, search is fast and painless, which is integral to finding the right info at the right time.

  4. https://www.jivesoftware.com/
Jive is an internal social network that includes file sharing. Users can post updates that the rest of the team can see, or it can become an internal wiki to help you disseminate up-to-date reference documents.

  5. https://www.facebook.com/workplace
Workplace by Facebook allows you to use all your favourite and familiar Facebook tools (news feeds, voice and video calling, group discussions, and more) to interact with your colleagues. It is separate from your personal Facebook account — because this is supposed to be used for serious work!

This week:
  1. Lifestyle. The Chalkboard is your guide to living well. It features eating options, latest in dressing, where to travel and more.

  2. Cooking. Try Dessert for Two if you are looking for new yummy dessert recipes that should just be enough for two. You won’t then have to deal with leftovers that you didn’t want in the first place! Not a site you want to visit if you’ve just started a diet!

  3. Life Stories. How We Get To Next has an interesting collection of non-fiction stories with compelling narratives and three-dimensional characters that will keep you hooked. Their topics range from Health to Identity, from Play to Afrofuturism!

  4. Shopping. Cool Material has a lot of cool stuff to buy for men – from Bluetooth speakers, to luggage, bar accessories and more!

  5. Self-Management. Personal Growth contains great articles, courses, tips and advice – keep learning and keep growing!

  1. https://solid.wisembly.com/  A great meeting app. If you are interested in prepping and taking good notes, solid connects with your calendar to synchronize your meetings. You'll also find a detailed analysis in Solid about how much total time you’re spending in meetings, when they’re taking place, who you’re meeting with, and so on.

  2. http://teammeetingchecklist.com/ Get the most out of your meetings and make the  collaboration process go smoothly with Team Meeting Checklist. Having a clear, easy-to-follow outline is helpful for the organizer — but the checklist is even more helpful for setting expectations for attendees.

  3. https://www.mindmeister.com/ MindMeister is an online mind mapping tool that lets you capture, develop and share ideas visually. It is ideal for brainstorming, note taking, project planning and tons of other creative tasks. It is completely web-based so no downloads and no updates required.

  4. https://zoom.us/  Zoom is a great Voice & Video Conferencing Tool equipped with HD video conferencing, screen sharing from desktop or mobile, collaborative whiteboard, recording features, and the ability to choose full screen or gallery views for video streams (or choose different views for multiple monitors).

  5. https://gsuite.google.com/  G Suite is the extremely handy Google's suite of cloud collaboration tools, which includes Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites plus the ever-present Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, and Google Plus.
